EASTON, PA. -Eastern Pennsylvania school officials will appeal to the power of the federal judge that allows students to wear bracelets of fundraising for cancer of the breast that say, "I (heart) crazy!"
The School District of zone Easton voted unanimously Wednesday to appeal the decision by District Judge Mary McLaughlin.
The decision of the judge entered the lawsuit filed by two students of the school which received school suspensions for wear bracelets.
McLaughlin decided Tuesday that the district may not prohibit the rubber jewelry because it is not obscene, profane, or embarrassing to the school day.
District attorney John Freund, explains decision "undermines the authority of school officials to promote civil dialogue and to maintain decorum in the schools".
